Kenneth R. Bittner

BITTNER – Kenneth Richard, 76, Ebensburg, formerly of New Castle, died November 18, 2018, at Cambria Care Center. Born May 4, 1942 in Meyersdale, son of Richard W. and Ethel M. (Orndoff) Bittner.

Survived by sisters, Jean, widow of Paul Wertz, Johnstown; and Kay, widow of George F. Maynard, Parma, Ohio; nephews, Christopher Wertz and Kevin Maynard; and niece, Erin Fisher; great nephews, Andrew Wertz and Benjamin Fisher; and great nieces, Heidi Wertz and Anna Fisher.

Ken loved music, particularly country music and Christian hymns. He enjoyed singing and always had a radio or CD player by his side. His laugh and caring smile warmed hearts and made everyone feel loved.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, the Rev. Susan Luttner presiding.

Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
