Joel B. Green

GREEN – Joel B., 53, Johnstown, passed June 7, 2022. In Cape May, New Jersey. Born June 24, 1968, in Saginaw, Michigan; son of Russell B. and Candace M. (Dolan) Green.

Preceded in death by parents; aunts and uncles, Marilyn (Green) and Alfred Jankowski, James Dolan, Samuel and Barbara Dolan, and Thomas Dolan, and Kathy (Wepler) Green.

Survived by aunts, Diane Dolan and Sunday Dolan; uncle, Walter Green; cousin, David Jankowski; Greg (Michelle) Jankowski, and their daughters, Mackenzie, and Andrea; and cousins, Tammy Gelles, James Dolan, Roxane Dolan, Jessica Budge, Karen Dolan, and Samuel Dolan, as well as the James Henry family.

Joel was employed by the Cambria County Association for the Blind and Handicapped (CCABH) for 32 years as a contract employee. He enjoyed watching classical movies and sitcoms as well as listening to music. Most of all Joel enjoyed taking bus trips. He made numerous trip over the years, to destination such as Greenfield Village in Detroit, Gettysburg, Ocean City Maryland, and Mackinaw Island Michigan. Joel was always a happy thoughtful individual especially with his family, sending cards and making telephone calls on holidays and special events such as birthdays and anniversaries. He would also send postcards to family and friends while on his many bus adventures.

Friends will be received Saturday June 18th from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, Father Joseph C. Nale, presiding.

Following cremation, committal will be held at St. John Gualbert Cemetery, Johnstown.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be directed to the Cambria County Association for the Blind and Handicapped (CCABH).
