REIGHARD – Foster James, “Jim” “Tiger,” 86, Sidman, died December 4, 2020 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born March 31, 1934, in South Fork, son of Lowman and Hannah R. (Oswalt) Reighard.
Preceded in death by parents; infant brother, Arthur; sister, Maxine Bailey; and brothers, Raymond, Leonard, and Ernest “Deacon;” and brother-in-law, Charles Bailey.
Survived by loving wife of 53 years, Barbara A. (Karl) Reighard; son Douglas J., married to Jackie (Emerick), Sidman; beloved grandson, Cameron James “C.J.” Reighard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graduate of Adams Township High School, Class of 1952. US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Jim was a retired steelworker from US Steel Corporation. Member of Steelworkers Union, Local 1288, American Legion Post 551, St. Michael; and Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 551.
Honoring his request there will be no visitation.
A memorial service with Military Rites by St. Michael American Legion Post 551 will be held at the convenience of the family.
