Hermine L. Sivec

SIVEC – Hermine L., 91, Sidman, died October 26, 2018, at Siemon’s Heritage Personal Care Center, Somerset. Born May 9, 1927, in Ehrenfeld, last surviving child of Morris and Mary (Courty) Danel. Preceded in death by parents; granddaughter, Stacey May; brothers, Fernand, Alfred, Emile, Raymond and Paul; and infant brother, Morris.

Survived by loving husband of 71 Years, Robert Sivec, whom, she married July 26, 1947; children, Susan, wife of Richard May, Summerhill Township; Robert, married to Ruth (Wolfhope), Sidman; Richard, married to Nancy (Lutton), Lilly; Ronald, married to Lisa (Long), St. Michael; and Shelley, wife of Dan DeLuca, Altoona; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Helen Danel, Richland; Irene Danel, St. Michael; and Mary Sivec, St. Michael; and also numerous nieces, nephews and other beloved family and friends.

Hermine was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael. She devoted herself to her family, adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed music and dancing.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where a vigil will be held at 3 p.m. Monday.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Fr. Brian Warchola, Celebrant.
