Fred G. Bumford

BUMFORD – Frederick G. “Fred,” 81, Ebensburg, died December 18, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born July 13, 1939, in South Fork, son of Raymond and Florence (Berghane) Bumford. Preceded in death by parents; son, Dale Bumford, brothers, Lee and Alvin Lloyd; sister, Miriam Walls; and former wife, Gladys Tremba.
Survived by daughter, Yvette Bumford (Stush Sikora), Salix; granddaughter, Brittany, wife of Dave Lindahl, Heilwood; and great-grandchildren, Andrew and Maci Lindahl.
Fred was a diesel mechanic and drove truck for Dunlo Transfer. Member of Teamsters Union, Local 110; social member of American Legion Post 619, VFW Post 3489, American Polish Citizens Club, and Moose Lodge 207, Nanty Glo. He enjoyed working on and restoring old cars and spending time with friends and family.
A celebration of Fred’s life will be planned for a time when we can again gather to share hugs and memories.
