Dorothy L. Rosemas

ROSEMAS – Dorothy L., 88, Richland, formerly of South Fork, went to be with the Lord, July 31, 2019. Born February 14, 1931, in Johnstown, daughter of Paul C. and Agnes M. (Schmidt) Ofsanko.

Preceded in death by parents; husband, Leo M. Rosemas, who died July 22, 2010; infant daughter, Leah Michelle; infant son, Robert; and brother Paul L. Ofsanko.

Survived by son, Allen C., married to Bonita (Bracknell), Haralson, Georgia; daughter, Marissa, wife of Daniel Chubski, Richland; grandchildren, Jo Lynn, wife of John Whited, Senoia, Georgia; Heather, wife of Cpt. Thomas Spears, San Diego, California; and Alan Rosemas, South Pasadena, Florida; great-grandchildren, Tynsley Whited and Mason, Thomas, and Jacob Spears; siblings, Richard, Johnstown, Shirley Gossard, Richland; Michael, married to Joyce (Bartko), Johnstown; and Marie E., wife of Robert Plish, Johnstown.

Dorothy was a graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School, class of 1948. Member of St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael. She was a dedicated and caring LPN at Mercy Hospital for many years. She enjoyed garage sales and challenging crossword puzzles. Her family and friends will hold dear memories of a loving, loyal, and upbeat woman who was full of life, laughter, and a bit of feistiness.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church, the Reverend Monsignor David A. Lockard and Father Brian Warchola Con-Celebrants.
