Dolores J. Spaid

SPAID – Dolores (Rojohn), 95, Madison, Ohio; formerly of South Fork, Pennsylvania; died August 14, 2021 at Tripoint Medical Center, Painesville, Ohio. Born April 5, 1926, daughter of Mae (Harris) and Albert Rojohn. Preceded in death by parents; beloved husband, “Harold,” who died February 11, 2001, ending fifty-five years of marriage; son, “Bill,” U.S. Navy; sisters, Dolores Elizabeth and Elizabeth “Libby” Wilson.

Survived by son, Dennis and wife, Carlotta with whom she resided; also, grandson, Eddie, all of Madison, Ohio; grandson, Bill Spaid O’dell and wife, Heidi; great-granddaughters, Allyson, Kellie, and Trinity; great great-grandson, “Will;” great great-granddaughters, Leah and Audrey, all of Maryland; daughter-in-law, Kathy O’dell, of Virginia; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; half-sister, Margie Malloy, of Hollsopple, Pennsylvania; and sister-in-law, Betty Spaid, of Portage, Pennsylvania.

Dolores was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in South Fork; and attended services at Park United Methodist Church in Madison, Ohio.
She graduated from South Fork High School in 1944 and attended Cambria Rowe Business College in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She was secretary to Raymond Fox, Attorney at Law & Mayor of South Fork. Dolores was an avid reader, loved writing letters to friends, and solving word search puzzles.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., 621 Maple Street, South Fork, Pennsylvania; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021 the Reverend Randolph Landman presiding. Interment, South Fork Cemetery.
