Dorothy & David Lewis & Vicki (Lewis) Falcon

Life has come full circle for Dorothy, David and Vicki. Conceived, nurtured and loved in these Pennsylvania hills.
Dorothy and David were teenage sweethearts and then newlyweds right after graduating from highschool. David soon after joined the Marine Corps in 1947 before attending the University of Pittsburgh in 1950 and completing a degree in engineering. After university David worked for Union Carbide Corporation his entire career.
Dorothy remained a housewife who supported David and their 4 children all her life (Janice, Vicki, David Robert, and Eric). David and Dorothy traveled the world but never forgot their roots. Both David and Dorothy retired in Oak Island, NC where David played golf and Dorothy liked bridge, spending time with her grandchildren, and they both had a great life.
Vicki too traveled the world and buried her beloved child Christopher in these very hills on 11/29/1975. It seems only fitting that they return and rest here. Vicki married Leonard Falcon in 1970 in Hawaii. Leonard Falcon was also buried in these hills on 11/28/2012. Leonard and Vicki had 5 children total: Christopher, Sara, Jon, Ruth, and Traci. Vicki was also married to Robert Hunter who still lives in Hope Mills, NC.
Generosity and loyalty are hallmarks of David, Dorothy and Vicki. When asked they gave without expecting any return. All were strong willed, intelligent, beautiful personalities, big hearts, teachers, talented, and extremely supportive of their families. David, Dorothy, and Vicki's children and grandchildren all became educated pillars of society including: Mechanics, Parents, Military, Law Enforcement, Teachers, Photographers/Nursing Assistants, Lawyers, Human Resources.
Wonderful parents and grandparents and beloved sister and brother were Dorothy and David.
Vicki a much loved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. David and Dorothy had 11 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. Vicki had a total of 6 Grandchildren.
So it is only fitting that we celebrate the lives of these awesome people that God has given us as Guides, Parents, Friends, and Examples.
All are welcome to attend a memorial graveside service which will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Mount Hope Cemetery, South Fork, Pa.
