MATLIN – Claire J., 95, formerly of Cresson and Dayton, Ohio; died January 23, 2018, at Garvey Manor, Hollidaysburg.
She was the oldest daughter of Patrick L. and Hilda (Callahan) Flynn of Cresson. Preceded in death by husband, Dr. George E. Matlin of Beaverdale and her parents.
Survived by sisters, Reba McDermit, Cresson; and Shirley Murray, Orlando, Florida; also numerous nephews and nieces.
Honoring her wishes, there will be no viewing or visitation.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson by Fr. Matthew Reese.
Committal, St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson.
