TEREK – Camilla D., “Tootie,” 82, South Fork, died December 14, 2018, at home. Born October 6, 1936, in Portage, daughter of Charles T. “Chuckles,” and Mary M. (Facemyer) McCarthy. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Edward Terek, who died April 5, 2007; son-in-law, William Lewis; and brother-in-law, Robert Chunta.

Survived by children, Stacey Lewis, South Fork; Charles, married to Kim (Stevens), Cresson; Melissa, wife of Anthony Barlam, South Fork; and Michael, married to Kristin (Mignogna), Glen Ellyn, Illinois; grandchildren, Sarah (Ryan) Peterson, who lovingly cared for her at home; Ashley (Richard) Bennett; Shawn (Janine) Lewis; Scott Lewis, engaged to Mackenzie Barbin; Elizabeth Dusack; Billy Lewis; Shannon Terek; Daniel Terek; Steven Dusack, engaged to Shannon Stains; Olivia Terek; Christopher Terek and Mia Terek; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Molly Chunta, South Fork; Charlene, wife of Richard Chaney, Portage; Cynthia, wife of David Chaney, South Fork; and Stephanie, wife of Patrick Mills, Woodstock, Georgia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family and friends.

Camilla was a graduate of South Fork Croyle High School, class of 1954. She was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir. Her many accomplishments included being the past President of the following organizations: South Fork Croyle PTA, Saint James Altar and Rosary Society, Saint Michael Greek Catholic Church Altar and Rosary Society, South Fork Jayceettes, South Fork Library, and South Fork Women’s Club. Additionally, she was a member of the South Fork Heritage Days and was well known for her catering business, C&C Catering, which she operated with her sisters.

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where a vigil will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fr. Joseph C. Nale, Celebrant.

Volunteerism was a big part of Camilla’s life. She firmly believed in being an active member in her community. To carry on her legacy, please consider giving your time or yourself to help another person or a cause.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the South Fork Library or South Fork Heritage Days.
