Brad Peter Grasso

GRASSO – Brad Peter, 44, Cover Hill, died July 5, 2021, at home. Born February 17, 1977, in Johnstown, son of Chip and Rhonda (Werner) Grasso.

Survived by parents; beloved son, Matthew Brayden; step-daughter, Brook McDermott; sister, Janette Renee, wife of Lee LaBar; nephews, Brandon, Dylan, and Carson; niece, Allison; great-nephew, Camden; Matthew’s mother, DeLane (Heinlein) Grasso; and many, many friends.

Brad was a member of Ss. Gregory & Barnabas Parish. He graduated in 1995 from Bishop McCort High School, where he played on the golf and hockey teams. He began working for MT Pockets as a teen, was a merchandiser for PepsiCo, and more recently worked as a quality assurance inspector at TechniMark, Latrobe. He honed his talent for shooting pool at Mully’s Billiards, enjoyed competing in 9 -ball tournaments, and had a life-long obsession for perfecting his game. He thoroughly relished passionate discussions, lively debates, and could out smile anyone through an argument, after which he concluded you were indeed wrong! He cherished spending time with family and absolutely loved his son. Brad and Matt had tons of great adventures fishing, shooting pool, and going on vacations.

Friends will be received at the church Friday July 9, 2021 from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, Daisytown; Concelebrants, Father Callistus I. Elue and Father Matthew Baum.
