Barbara J. Ray

RAY – Barbara J. (Schrift), 77, Windber, Pennsylvania, formerly of South Fork, Pennsylvania; passed away October 10, 2019. Born April 27, 1942, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania; daughter of the late Walter T. and Dorothy M. (Simmons) Schrift.

Survived by brother, Walter Thomas, married to Diane (Kowalski), Birmingham, Michigan; cherished nieces, Stephanie Anne, wife of John P. Fletcher, San Bernardino, California; and Sarah Marie Schrift, Jersey City, New Jersey; dear cousin, Norma Jean Simmons, Richland, Pennsylvania; and numerous other beloved family and friends. Barbara was a graduate of Adams - Summerhill High School, class of 1960 and was an administrative assistant with Peoples Natural Gas.

Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., 621 Maple Street, South Fork, the Reverend Joseph Stains presiding.

Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Johnstown.
