Andrew L. Latoche

LATOCHE – Andrew L., 68, South Fork, died July 1, 2021, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born July 23, 1952, son of Joseph and Anna (Zatek) Latoche. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Donna Hope (Smeal) Latoche, who died January 19, 2013; brother, Joseph Jr.; and former wife, Christine (Long) Latoche.

Survived by daughters, Leslie, wife of James Eget Jr., Tracys Landing, Maryland; Lisa, engaged to Justin Wilson, Altoona; and Trisha, wife of Eric Groer, Carrolltown; son, Joseph, married to Jessica (Rosenbaum), Boswell; beloved grandchildren, James and Quintin Eget; Autumn and Dawson Groer; and Sophia, Lilliana, Noelle, and Weston Latoche; and siblings, Jeannie (Paul) Maloskey, Portage; Dorothy (George) Smithtro, Falls Creek; Walter (Barbara) Latoche, Alum Bank; Kathleen Vocek, Lilly; and Bernadette (Joe) McMonigal, Chalfont.

Graduate of Penn Cambria High School, class of 1970. Andy was a millwright for Bethlehem Steel Corporation and retired from Johnstown Wire Technologies. He was a talented craftsman; loved to tinker and could restore and refurbish almost anything. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and collecting Elvis and Steelers memorabilia. Andy was a giver, he would give and give and never accept anything in return. He loved trips to camp at Glendale, made friends everywhere he went, and especially cherished spending time with friends and family.

Friends will be received from 4 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Friday July 2, 2021 at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
