Agnes Bertolino

BERTOLINO – Agnes, 93, Ebensburg, formerly of St. Michael, died February 4, 2018, at Amber Hills. Born September 28, 1924, daughter of Michael and Susan (Lisifko) Sikora.

Preceded in death by parents; husband, John L. Bertolino, who died November 20, 1991; sisters, Ann Garanich, Mary Single, Margaret Sikora, Verna Sikora, Kay Chimelewski, and Helen D’Alessio; brothers, Steve and James; and granddaughter, Nicole Bertolino.

Survived by daughter, Gloria Jean, wife of Larry W. Lohr, Hooversville; sons, John Jr., married to Vicki (Kriston), and Michael and his special friend Tressia Molnik, all of Ebensburg; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Robert “Bob”, Cleveland, OH; and special nephew, Bill Sikora, Long Island, NY.

Agnes was a 1942 graduate of South Fork High School. Following graduation she worked in a Cleveland factory supporting the war effort, and later for Bali Bra in Geistown as a trimmer. Agnes was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and solving crossword puzzles.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where vigil will be held Tuesday. Viewing will also be held at Holy Name Catholic Church Narthex from 10 a.m. until Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Msgr. David A. Lockard, celebrant. Committal, St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, St. Michael.
