Louise Elaine McClelland

McCLELLAND - Louise Elaine (Johnson), 76, Edinburg, Virginia; passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 at her residence.

Born November 22, 1940, in South Fork, daughter of Walter George and Bertha Rose (Danel) Johnson. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Thomas Leroy McClelland; son, Robert McClelland and daughter-in-law, Melissa McClelland.

Survived by children, Ron McClelland and wife, Michelle, Stanley, Virginia; Mark McClelland, Fredericksburg, Virginia; and Robyn Schneider and husband, Larry, Newmanstown, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Tucker, Becky, Thomas, Justin, Sara, Mallory, Larry, Nick, Cameron, Carter and Sawyer; great-grandchildren, Landon, Marilyn, Gunner and Myles; brother, Walter Johnson and wife, Sally, South Fork; and brother-in-law, Terry McClelland and wife, Linda,Woodstock, Virginia.

Louise was a member of Woodstock United Methodist Church where she was active with Emmaus and Grief Share. She was retired and had worked as an elementary school secretary.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Stover Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 177 N Holliday Street, Strasburg, Virginia.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Woodstock United Methodist Church, 156 S Muhlenberg St, Woodstock, Virginia; the Rev. Robert Hoskins, Jr. officiating.

Locally friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 31, at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc. South Fork, the Rev. Terry Trudgen officiating.

Interment, South Fork Cemetery.
