Survived by loving wife of 67 years, Elizabeth Lucille (Patterson) McNertney, whom he, affectionately called “Luc” and married August 16, 1949; daughters, Christine, wife of Pastor Michael Bender, White Pigeon, Michigan; and Cynthia, wife of the Rev. Dr. Rick Clark, Winchester, Virginia; 7 beloved grandchildren; and 22 adored great-grandchildren, who loved him so much and he them. Ken was a US Navy veteran, having served from 1948 to 1950. He had several jobs and careers through the years, including owning and operating his own air conditioning and refrigeration company. Without a doubt though, his favorite was preaching the gospel. Ken was ordained August 7, 1987 in Gardena, California; and poured his heart and soul into reading, studying and telling everyone he met to come to the Savior. He instilled in us that faith in the Lord is the best foundation you can have, and being happy and having love fill your heart is what matters. Truly we have been blessed by having you in our lives, truly you are dearly missed.
