Ann B. Cordek

CORDEK – Ann B., 93, South Fork, died March 12, 2018, at Siemon Heritage Personal Care, Somerset. Born September 29, 1924, in South Fork, daughter of Louis and Anna (Fiffick) Varljen.
Preceded in death by parents: husband, Tofiel A. Cordek, who died March 23, 1983; son, Kenneth; and brother, John and his wife, Julia (Young) Varljen.
Survived by sons, Tobias M., married to Georgette Blazauski, Pittsburgh; and James M., married to Roberta Stevens, Davidsville; grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica (Phillip Evankovich), Kyle, Carrie (Greg Beck), Katherine and Sarah; great grandchildren, Kennedy and Kelsa; sister, Theresa (Andrew) Roth, Jacksonville, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ann graduated from the former South Fork High School Class of 1943. She was a member of the former St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, where she was involved in the various activities of the church and a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, South Fork.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork where vigil will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, South Fork, by Fr. Joseph C. Nale. Committal, St. James Cemetery, South Fork.
